A small beachside town with an easy, laid-back feel, Jensen Beach is still close to big-town amenities.

You can’t miss the beautiful Jensen Sea Turtle Beach, so named for the sea turtles that nest there every year. Here, you can relax on white-sand beaches and catch a few rays or dive into the water to swim or ride the waves. Sunrise to sundown, it’s a great place to get in a walk while listening to the soft sounds of the surf. Coincidentally, Jensen Beach was rated the “Top Spot for Beach Volleyball” by Prime Time Magazine in 2008.

Take a drive down Skyline Drive as it winds through downtown and near the Intracoastal. You’ll find lots to eat, see and do in Historic Downtown Jensen Beach. You won’t want to miss the Annual Pineapple Festival or any of the other frequent events held there.  

Bring a group to Painting with a Twist or head inland to see a movie at the Regal Cinemas at the area’s shopping mall, Treasure Coast Square.

Employment Opportunities

As of March 2019, there are 304 jobs listed on Indeed.com for Jensen Beach, Florida. The type of jobs are wide-ranging…from video producers to RV service advisors, and from front desk receptionists to veterinary kennel staff.

The area’s Treasure Coast Square Mall also provides employment opportunities, including servers at the food court, retail associates, and more. The school system is the largest local employer, with administrative, cafeteria, custodial staff in addition to teachers needed.

Other fields of possible employment to explore include the marine industry, hospitality and tourism, construction, and the medical field.

Sober Fun

The regional Treasure Coast Square Mall, centrally located on US 1, offers a cinema, food court, major anchor department stores and a host of indoor shops.

Downtown Jensen also is a great place to shop, as well as eat and walk along the scenic Indian River. The beaches are in their natural state, and with almost year-round warm weather, ready and waiting to provide free relaxation and fun. Fishing is a big pastime in Jensen Beach, and you can rent the Lady Stuart or the Safari 1 for deep sea fishing expeditions. Biking, paddleboarding, surfing, kayaking, paddling and more are also popular here, and, with treasure still washing ashore from 18th century Spanish shipwrecks, you can also go diving to try to find your own. All the equipment you need can be rented for a day you won’t soon forget.

Just south of Jensen Beach is Sailfish Splash, a two-acre waterpark that offers slides, swimming pools and a lazy river. Or, you can browse the over 500 vendors at the B&A Flea Market. There is plenty to do in Jensen Beach!
